Tasemere Gathers 

Urban Planner turned Business Visionary and Strategist

Tasemere Gathers has spent a decade working with entrepreneurs in the non-profit sector. Before launching the brand, Tasemere freelanced in her spare time, giving start up advice to friends and colleagues. 


After a series of successes, Tasemere knew she had more to offer to the business community. In 2017, Ms. Gathers launched the DM Firm specifically for micro-entrepreneurs and small businesses. Coupling urban planning with business development and strategy, Tasemere’s approach to business is global. This approach takes into account how cities, culture, politics, and business work together.

Milestones

2016

The foundation for the DM Firm was established.

2017

The DM Firm launched.

2018

The DM Firm created pitch decks that directly resulted in interviews and contracts with other brands.

2019

The DM Firm successfully increase a brick and mater business profits and launched additional revenue streams for clients.

2020

Launched two workshop series specifically for micro-entrepreneurs. 

2021

Co-funded the Brunch Pitch.

2022

 Launched P.S. Entrepreneur.

2023

Selected as the East Coast Regional Representatives for the 1MC program powered by the Kauffman Foundation.

2024

 Launched Brunch Pitch:  Round 2

Achievements 

Co-designed  websites to ensure a cohesive brand message across all platforms on and offline
Created business infrastructures that allow clients to reach achievable and scalable goals
Developed media kits and pitch decks for assist brands with securing press and brand ambassadorship
Produces customized comprehensive marketing plans for clients and determine next steps for implementation
