BRUNCH PITCH

SINCE 2021

In the wake of civil unrest across the globe in 2021 (the combination of Covid 19 and George Floyd) the DM Firm launched the Brunch Pitch specially aimed at serving founders and entrepreneurs from disenfranchised groups. Historically, pitch competitions require that entrepreneurs have a business plan and/or a pitch deck readily available to enter a pitch competition. We lowered the barrier of entry to our pitch competition. 


Since curating the Brunch Pitch we have presented self-identifying entrepreneurs from an array of industries including technology, cannabis, food and beverage, fingerprinting,  apparel, and more. The Brunch Pitch has been produced in New York City, New Jersey, and Baltimore with more cities being added yearly. Our judging panel has included local leaders in business, media personalities affiliated with Shark Tank, Radio, and Fox45, alongside celebrity marketers to entrepreneurs.

Strong businesses impact the local and national economy as well as workforce. Brunch Pitch supports Black entrepreneurs begin to connect their business to the economy.

Accessible

Traditionally pitch competitions have had limited accessibility across business industry, region, size, and revenue generated. Brunch Pitch has lowered the barrier of entry and supports entrepreneurs with technical assistance.
